My Thoughts on Bullying

Words are dangerous and they can leave a nasty scar. In elementary school I was bullied by a set of people who were not the same race as me. Well what does race have to do with this? It is rare to find someone making fun of their own race; the majority of people make fun of other races, so I happened to be the victim. It was verbal bullying, but at the time I was young and i did not know what to do, besides listen to their comments. I remember the stereotypical and racist comments being shot at me. it got to a point where i just completely broke down. on the long run i saw my race differently due to the comments, i felt ashamed to be who i am. However, i later knew that they were just being ignorant and that i should forget about it. I also realized that bullying can damage the person psychologically; also, it makes one realize what kind of people are in this world, corrupt society.

My Favorite Movie: Forest Gump and The Fast and the Furious

My favorite movie is Forest Gump. I learn something new from the movie every time i watch it! for instance, the first time I watched it I learned that it took place during the confederate time. It is an inspirational film that taught me that, although you may face some disabilities, it does not keep you from accelerating in life. The true meaning of friendship and love is found in this film. friendship is found with Bubba. They promised to each other that they would have a shrimp boat. When bubba dies he honors his death and becomes the founder of Bubba Gump Shrimp. He helps out his family. Love is an essential factor in the film when him and Jenny meet. I learned that when a person loves someone more than themselves, they will love at distance and for who they are at the end of the day. Also, The Fast and the Furious is an all time street race classic film. It portrays that no matter where you come from, no matter when you got there, no matter how you got there, and no matter what someone turned out to be, family will always be there for one another.
