Compassionate Science

Many scientists have the compassion to take their skill and paycheck to help someone in the other side of the world, like Mike Ebeling did. Do you have what it takes to do what Mike Ebeling did?
As a scientist in the future I have the kind soul and heart to take my knowledge and make the world a better place.

To achieve the skills of an engineering scientist, is a blessing. If i were to become an engineer in robotics i would definitely take science and put it to good use. I would take the knowledge from
science and computers, and put it all together. In order to make the change you have to know what you are going to do and how you are going to do it and that is where the science and computer class comes into play. You can demonstate the person how you will use the program to change their life. Because without the scientific knowledge how can something be created? Then as a scientist you ca not always focus in the big pay check! You have to acknowledge your gift and appreciate it, so you can help one another.

The Future

10 years from now the future withholds sorrow and depression all over again. If the government continues to run the way it is now and the way it ran in the early 1900s, people are going to go crazy!
We see new technology, new programs, new clothing, but no new jobs. As i have seen in the previous films such as: Metropolis and Modern Times; I think to myself that they are predicting the future we live in now. It may not be as bad as they portray it, but there are similar situations. Not too far from home there are homeless, jobless, and people in poverty. This was predicted years back and here we are, living in the "future." Now imagine it 10 years from now, people talk for change, but it is mainly change for the poor. The rich have it easy, the rich will always oppress the poor. Thus, I predict that the poor will always be the poor and the rich will always be the rich, 10 years from now due to the lack of change in todays's future.

My Review on Modern Times

I enjoyed the film Modern times. Generally, I like the comedy in it, the romance, and the struggles, but most of all his character. He taught us that during the industrial revolution people were very poor, factories controlled the workers by having them work long hours, and when they would not work they will be on strike. Charlie Chaplin as the little tramp symbolized hope and happiness during rough times. Also, an interesting scene in the movie is when Chaplin gets swallowed into the machine. That shows that too much work can swallow the employee as a whole! And later on in the film we see that he makes the repetitive movement as he would when he works, and that shows employees went crazy! The gamit in the film demonstrates that during tough times people have the need to steal to feed their families and they will do whatever it takes to stay out of prison. Overall this film shows the rough times and the happy times.
One Time I Laughed Really, Really, Hard

A time where i laughed rally really hard was when my volleyball coach, Efrain, fell off my skateboard. Before i left the gym, I was going to get my skateboard, but it was not there, so i knew one of my teammates must have taken it, but then i see Efrain at a distance coming my way and he is holding papers and has his backpack on. A couple of teammates and I were standing around on the the blacktop near the basketball courts and across from us there were basketball girls sitting on the bricks and some bystanders, so everybody that was there saw. When Efrain is approaching us he says"Edson, your board is..." and he fell in front of us right before he can even finish his sentence. As he was falling he tried to grab on to one of my teammates, but failed, also while he was falling the wheels on the skateboard spun which cause him to spin midway before hitting the floor. His final words on the sentence were, "... jacked up."
