Week of May 29th
This week, we finished filming shots for " A Love Story" and continued to edit. We discussed our upcoming project, before completing the film. We continued to edit throughout the week, and it is almost finished.
Week of June 5th
This week we filmed our new project for two days. We filmed on Monday and Wednesday for long hours. Editing carried on to Friday after school.
Wek of June 12
I enjoyed the film festival very much! I enjoyed all films from "Not Yet Productions" because their cinematography from "Beer Pong" (PSA) was amazing, as well as very creative. Although "Death of a Paisa" did not have a clear and strong story, it was hilarious and enjoyable. Watching our work up in the big screen in front of friends and schoolmates was like a dream come true. Since my freshmen year, I always wanted to have my film in our school film festival. Mr. Lansdown did a wonderful job of putting the whole event together by getting his film classes to create interesting films. I enjoyed all the films that were showed.

Week of May 8th
This week, we came up with a new idea and we filmed it: a

We will begin our storyboards and film the upcoming week and/ or the weekend.

Week of April 10
This Monday, we edited our new PSA. It was on the same concept as our old attempt of a PSA. On Tuesday, we showed it to Mr. Lansdown and there were some minor editing issues, so we fixed it. We finally got it done on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we watched it again and went over what grade we should give ourselves and we graded it a B because we did not fulfill the storyboards, throughly. On Thursday, we discussed our short narrative and we will be filming this weekend.

Week of April 3rd
On Monday, we were done with our film, but we ran into a problem. We fell in between a narrative and a PSA. We continued to edit, and on Tuesday we figured it has to be one or the other. On Wednesday, we discussed a new PSA after being inspired by a one shot PSA. We worked on our short storyboard. We filmed on Thursday and we'll edit today.

Week of March 27
This week, we filmed on Monday for 2 1/2 hours and we fell in the twilight zone in between a PSA and a narrative. On Tuesday, we uploaded our film, but did not edit. After seeing our footage, we decided that we should change the film a bit. It is still the concept of life on the phone and off the phone. On Wednesday, we worked on a lot of editing and it is nearly done. We did not do much on Thursday. We will continue to shoot this weekend.

What music means to me
Music is the best way to escape into in an un-visual style world. The best time to listen to music is just about anywhere and anytime. Well maybe not when the teacher is talking or at an interview or at a funeral or when you are somewhere important, you know what I mean. Listening to music goes from singing in the shower, listening to music in the shower, before going to ed, and throughout your day. That is the time I listen to music. Oh and before games, in the car, during a workout, while doing chores, so just about anywhere and anytime. I enjoy listening to music that I find appealing to my ear drums, of course, but my mood can determine what I listen to. I am an optimistic person, for i do not listen to "depressing music," except for rare occasions when I am in a time of loneliness, remorse, and sorrow, and... that's not the point! My favorite bands are: The Beatles, The Strokes, The Black Keys, AC/DC, Queen, and of course Guns N' Roses. However, my taste in genre is: Indie Rock, ALternative, Classic Rock, Mexican music, Hip Hop, French music, R&B, Rap, and anything with the similar sound and lyrics. Foul language in music is not the way to go for me, for I enjoy learning from the songs, or if i am in a bad mood, I like that it will make it better. Music is like a souvenir from a memory... something like that.

Problems and Struggles
One of the many struggles i face is finding myself here at school and in life. Like every other high school teen, we have friends, but I necessarily hard to believe about myself. I know that I come to school with a bunch of people I know and talk to, but which one of them are my real friends. Perhaps, I have no real friends maybe just acquaintances, classmates, and teammates. However, that has allowed me to be independent and really get to learn about myself rather than to try to fit in a crowd. Also, some students here at Bell struggle the lack of communication with strangers and people that are not of their ethnicity. For example, if there were to be a group of hispanics that came from a different school to visit Bell, sure enough, Bell students and hispanic students will get along just fine, but if it were asians or whites, it is something different. Many also walk and talk with the mentality that it is nearly impossible to make a difference in the world because of the struggles at home. Well they can easily make a difference one by one. At home, I face economic and communication struggles. I can say I have a good connection with both of my sisters, but not my mother. It is devastating to know that we can barely have a conversation. There has never been any type of abuse, but it is just the way things are at home. These are just some of the many struggles in my society and in my life at home.

The Most Interrsting Person
Out of many interesting people that I know is Coach Walker, my coach. I can go to him whenever I am in doubt or have problems. He knows what to say to every situation and it makes everything so much better. He is an inspiration in my life who pushes me and teaches me about life and god. On top of that he is my coach and he has helped me improve in the game. He has taught me the deeper meaning of love within one another. I enjoy the fact that we, along with other players, can go to college games and have a wonderful time. His way of being has had sn influence in my character in such a way that I can be more confidenr amd outspoken in the real world. I see him as a pop and that is what all his players call him. He has made impossible, possible and that motivates me in school. I appreciate how he points out the good in us(volleyball players). He pullsnthat talent we have and allows us to see the good virtues in life.

My Anti-Drug
My anti-drug is volleyball. Although it may not be a popular sport in many people's eyes, it is everything to me. Long practices, games, and tournaments keep me busy. They keep me off the streets, for I spend all my time inside a gym. I find nothing bad, and nothing good about myself when I am competing. It is just me, 5 other players, the court, and the opponent. Nothing else matters, not an F on a quiz, not an A in a test, it keeps me away from most of the bad things, especially the environment in which I live in. After volleyball has relieved any stress that I have, I can go back to working on any studies or something productive around the house. Essentially, it builds my self character on top of skill. My mother and father always say that it is better to be out the whole day and coming home late from doing something you love than being out at night smoking weed or getting into trouble. My anti drug keeps me from trouble and drugs.

An Inconvenient Truth
Watching this documentary, made me truly think about the actions we take in our everyday lives. The world is delicate and obviously we need to protect it. A scene that touched me was Al Gore's adolescence. He lived on a ranch with perfect weather and lived with animals. That may not soon be there if global warming issues continue. His flashback connects with his present days. He is running around Washington D.C and immediate resources are used everyday. Perhaps, to put an end to global warming, the amount of oil and gas should be reduced. He demonstrated the astonishing data that was collected from the past years to 2005. We can see drastic changes in the 21st century. Also, an interesting factor that stayed in the back of my mind as I watched this film is that it was only up to 2005. He mentioned a few things about temperatures increasing and highly decreasing. It is now 2015, ten years later. It is winter, temperatures have increased and in the east coast, temperatures have dropped, drastically.
